The loss of a horse is hard to replace
It's something I never wanted to face
Zanzabars Champ lived for twenty four years
But that does'nt stop the heartache and tears
I can still see him now in the meadow outside
Whenever I think of him I do so with pride
He has a home now called Raibows Bridge
I know he is happy going over that ridge
And Zanzabars memory may fade, never die
And I'll always think of him and can't help but cry
I had him a long time, in good times and bad
And I know he wants me to be happy,not sad
So I'll live in the fond memories of my wonderful friend
But will always feel sad that his life had to end..
